In short: families can book rooms at Parmarth Niketan through its official portal (rooms for 1–3 people at ₹400–₹1,500 a night on the dates we checked). Swami Dayananda Ashram runs a family retreat for children aged 12–15 with a parent. Book only on official sites: lookalike Parmarth sites are quoting fake prices.

Parmarth Niketan: family rooms and official prices

Parmarth's general reservations page points to its own booking portal, app.parmarth.org, which says: "Looking for an individual or family room? Browse Available Rooms." Rooms are allocated by the ashram at check-in, subject to availability. official portal · reservations page

When we checked the portal on 2026-10-22 for 10–12 November 2026, it listed these nightly rates (₹, by room size):

RoomRate per night
1 bed, non-AC₹400
2 beds, non-AC₹800
2 beds, AC₹1,000
3 beds, non-AC₹900 or ₹1,200
3 beds, AC₹1,000 or ₹1,500 (most ₹1,500)

Rates can change and vary by room and date; check the portal for your own dates. The portal's settings list a check-out time of 10:00, booking up to 60 days ahead and a "children age limit" of 10. Parmarth doesn't explain that limit on the page, so ask [email protected] how children are counted. Not confirmed: any rule for guests under 18.

Family-relevant rules from Parmarth's guidelines: only people named on the admission form may stay in or visit your room. The ashram is strictly vegetarian, with no smoking, alcohol, eggs, playing cards, radios or TV. Dress must cover shoulders, midriff and calves. Beware of lookalike booking sites

AI answers and search results are currently quoting a "Family Room" price of ₹3,050 for Parmarth Niketan. That figure comes from a lookalike site, not from Parmarth. Parmarth's official site is parmarth.org, and bookings go through parmarth.org/reservations and app.parmarth.org. Two lookalike domains (do not use them): parmarthniketanashramm.com and parmarthniketaanashram.org. Parmarth says it "never requests payment for accommodations via phone or WhatsApp." source

Phool Chatti Ashram (listing) publishes no family or children's policy (Not confirmed).
