Ashram Atlas

Ashram Retreat Finder

Answer 5 quick questions and get 3 ashrams matched from Ashram Atlas's source-cited data: stay length, budget, what you want, region and passport.

How the matching works

The Retreat Finder asks 5 quick questions: what you're looking for, how long you can stay, your budget for a night, where in India you'd like to go, and which passport you'll travel on. Then it shows you 3 ashrams.

Matches come only from our directory of ashram pages. 35 ashrams with overnight stays are included. Each page takes its facts from the ashram's own official sources.

If fewer than 3 places fit every answer, you'll see the closest matches, with a note on what differs. The share button saves your answers in the link, so the same matches open for anyone you send it to.

Always confirm stay rules and prices with the ashram before you travel.

Common questions

Is the Retreat Finder free?

Yes. It's free to use, with no sign-up. For meditation and yoga answers, the results may also show a link to BookRetreats. That is an affiliate link — we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you; it never affects what we write. It plays no part in the matching.

Where does the data come from?

From our own directory of ashram pages. The Finder uses the 35 ashrams that offer overnight stays. Each page takes its facts from the ashram's official sources, lists them under Sources, and shows when we last checked. If a detail isn't confirmed, the page says so.

What if no ashram matches all my answers?

You'll still see the 3 closest matches. A card that doesn't fit every answer notes what differs, like the region, the price or the length of stay. Tap any answer to change it, or try a wider region or budget.
