What's not allowed at Parmarth Niketan?

The guidelines strictly prohibit smoking, intoxicants, drugs, eggs and other non-vegetarian food, playing cards, watching TV and playing radios loudly. Onion and garlic are discouraged, and pets aren't allowed. Guests who aren't listed on the admission form can't be entertained in rooms. All pilgrims are expected to join the sunset Ganga Aarti. The guidelines also say silence is appreciated at the ashram from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
